Does it say Z30 at the bottom of the first screen you see when you open the game?
I'm talking about actual updates to tracks currently in the game. The fear from Scawen is that it causes more incompatibility and perhaps resetting of World Records...but I doubt any LFS player actually cares about that. Eric request changes to the track editor to Scawen, so he must be doing something, but again, he must have done stuff to the current tracks since the last track update all those years ago. If the track updates are ready and waiting (which I hope they are; if not then wtf has Eric been doing?), then they should be packaged into this patch, especially seeing how they could fix all the drop-holes as well, instead of making Scawen fix them by other means.

That said, I think it would be easier if there were some track updates with this as well. Doesn't Eric have anything ready after nearly 3 years of nothing?
If there are too many places where you fall though/missing walls etc. then maybe a track update is the best idea? I'm sure no racer/server admin would mind about incompatibility and resetting of WR's and PB's...and I'm sure Eric has some track updates waiting for the past few years anyway.

Calm down...perhaps I should have quoted the people I was replying to (previous page). They they they so excited about "release day", and I was just reminding them it's a test patch, not a public release for the homepage...so no updates there.
It's going to be a test patch at first anyway...
We all want break-off parts affecting aero, weather changes, rain, etc.
I just wonder if Scawen has done any work on these things over the years for experimenting and testing. I'm sure he has as the new tyre physics would need to take into account changes in surface temperature, conditions, rubber/oil/water/aquaplaning; instead of redeveloping the tyre physics whenever Scawen decides to put these things into the game.

Are you really that dumb? Read the first post, or ask your mother to read it to you.
Who cares about tyre changes in the pits, that's just going to delay this patch. And anyway tyre wear/physics will be dealt with separately as has been going on for the past few years.
What I do is assume that LFS and its developers are dead until they make a new post.
Track seems finished to me...now why can't they fúcking release it?

If my sole job for the past 8 years was to develop a game that I created, with no actual need to develop the game, sometimes I would probably go on the computer each day ready to code something and instead I'd watch youtube videos all day, or a couple films and get distracted etc...

There's no point making suggestions for this game any more...
